Unique Boutique

PURPOSE

W.A.M.Y. Community Action, Inc. operates a sales and distribution center for items donated to the agency.  The Unique Boutique Thrift Shop has been owned and operated by W.A.M.Y. since 1984!

Some items are distributed at no cost to low-income families and others are sold at reasonable prices to the general public.

The proceeds from those sales are used to support the self-sufficiency programs operated by W.A.M.Y. Community Action including:

• Total Family Development,
• Gardening Program,
• Weatherization Assistance,
• Heating Appliance Repair and Replacement,
• Avery Amigos,
• Micro Loan Program,
• Avery Youth Opportunities (Avery YO!),
• Supportive Housing Program
• Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Rehousing

• Linens
• Books
• Music
• Toys
• Crafts
• Furniture
• Appliances
• Electronics

DIRECTIONS

The Unique Boutique Thrift Shop is located at 147 Perkinsville Drive behind Mikes Inland Seafood in Boone. From Highway 421, turn onto Highway 194 at New Market Center and take the first right onto Perkinsville Drive.

Summer Hours:

Monday through Saturday

10:00 am – 5:30 pm

Winter Hours:

Monday through Saturday

10:00 am – 5:00 pm
